This  Is THAT Sweater
A Warm Thoughts Knitting Design by Kim Wagner

You know THAT sweater?
The one that looks great over a turtleneck in the fall, a t-shirt in the spring and your jammies at the bus stop?
The one with pockets for your phone and a hankie? (or dog treats!)

The one that wraps and ties easily around you but looks just as nice worn open.

The one with the shawl collar that lays flat but stands up to wrap your neck on blustery days or at the movies when you feel a cold draft?

....Well ....

This is THAT Sweater!
Knit in one piece from cuff to cuff with worsted weight yarn and seamed together using mattress stitch and three needle bind off on the sleeve and side seams. The cardigan and neck border is picked up and worked after sweater body is complete. The body is worked in double seed stitch, with garter stitch borders at cuff and hem. The cardigan and neck border is also worked in garter stitch.
Techniques used in this pattern include increasing, decreasing, provisional cast on, 3 needle bind off and picking up sts.
Pattern instructions include web references for provisional cast on, and three needle bind off video tutorials, as well as charted and written pattern stitch instructions.

Finished chest measurements: 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, and 52 inches
